lyrics

T H E C O R A L M EN

Bound by the luna and it's rhythms, burning daylight and then candles
Building the roads and the parks, seaweed as trees and coral as men
My creatures move freely as i shape, the hills in the distance, their sky and their sun
My city, my town of sea urchins, the sound of their hails ring out and then...
The coral men call, from valleys of glass in raw from "build us an arc and a river to the shore. Ask of the tide, to carry us out. To carry us home, to depths that you'll never know.

Day long the tide will come and go, the grit of the grains between my palms. Building the halls and the towers, a new town, a land of conception.
My creatures sprawl far and wide, from buckets come mountains and gullies from spades.
My city, my town without churches, the sound of the hails ring out and then...
The coral men call, now i'd willed the tide to come home "we have no arc and no river to the shore
now as the tide will not drag us out, the towers they fall to depths that you'll never know"
