All them clouds come sailing here, a shadow and a call "the end is near". All them birds leave trees and then, a storm searching to dump its grief. We all gather, huddle close, share our warmth and our stories. Then disband again. More days then come and go between seeing something familiar. Before we'd tell another tale and spend the time searching for an ear, to bleed into. We'd all gather, huddle close, share our warmth and our stories and then disband again. More days then come and go between feeling something other than damp. The trees then arch and wind blows with our backs, soaked to the bone. With our backs soaked to the bone, more days then come and go, between seeing something familiar. All them clouds come sailing here, a shadow and a call "the end is near".

If an overseer is lookin in and listening for a fault. Watching us struggle and attempt to bolt and if he had a plan, then surely he'd reach down with his hand and intervene. We all stand in lines like sheep, as far as the eye can see. Living beyond our means and we can make an offering, but it'll never be enough and I don't believe. There's tried and tested ways, to see that the lights are on but nobody's home. There's tried and tested things to do to show that you're all alone. Just call to the wind and have it take away all thats worth a shit.

Dawn set on the night again, I was sitting in a gutter as day broke. I was high, the sun was bright, dragging me down again. And now that i'm done, i'll start all over. Had my back to a setting sun, the day had been long and all grace had gone, I set stride for the skyline of the city. Dressed up sharp in a shirt with holes, some jeans i'd stole and my boots scuffed and old, chest out and feeling bold. Step by step and in my stride I kept pace with the yellow beast falling behind me. I drank, oh i drank and now the common king slayer, a man at war with himself.

THE BREACH 04:26
We met on the birth of a son in a hall owned by no one, but it as the home of my brothers and I belonged to no other. We could not consummate what was already ours, you were tied up with a two legged dog and how i'd get down on one knee, but he's layed out on the floor. If I could speak then I would say for you to stay, i'd say that he's a downright piece of shit, that don't deserve you tonight. And if your skin would breach, with my hand I would reach. The son had died by the time we'd meet again, stuck in a cave and covered by a rock. In the meantime did the shadows on the wall keep you from sleep. If I could forecast the weather, i'd say there's a storm coming in. I'd say we'd be here together and there's a storm coming in. If I could forecast the weather, i'd say he don't deserve you tonight and if your skin it would breach, with my hand I would reach. If I could forecast the weather then i'd say there's a storm coming in.
